Celebrating 10 years of EOCA at ISPO MUNICH

The European Outdoor Conservation Association (EOCA) is to celebrate its tenth anniversary. Since it was founded, the association has raised 1.8 million euros and campaigned for environmental protection. The non-government organization has financed projects in 36 countries. It is hoping to raise even more at ISPO MUNICH.

January sees EOCA welcome two new members

EOCA set out ten years ago, with the aim of protecting untouched areas of nature. 126 companies have since become members of the organization. 100 percent of all membership fees are used towards protecting the environment.

At ISPO MUNICH, the EOCA stand will be located at the west entrance of the exhibition site. There, on each day of the fair, it will be possible to get equipment sponsored by EOCA members in exchange for a donation towards environmental protection.

The Scandinavian Outdoor Group will also be raising money for EOCA at their exhibition stand (A2/224) each day from 17:00 until 18:00.

Festivities at “ISPO MUNICH After Work”

On January 25 from 17:30 until 20:00, the tenth anniversary will be celebrated at “ISPO MUNICH After Work” in the atrium between A1 and B1. There will be free mulled wine with every Stanley mug purchase.

“We are really looking forward to celebrated our tenth anniversary together with the organization's members at ISPO MUNICH”, says Catherine Savidge, Joint General Manager at EOCA. “Through our collaboration, we have achieved a lot for environmental protection, and we can’t wait to continue working with them, as well as with our newest members, in the future.”
