
Team Germany and Adidas continue to make common cause: Together, on the brink of the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, the two have confirmed the extension of the already 45-year-long sponsorship and outfitter agreement until 2024.
Adidas boss rejoices: “Something very special”
“The close and faithful collaboration with the German Olympic team is undoubtedly something very special with us,” shared Herbert Hainer, CEO of the Adidas Group, “We’re glad that we’ll continue to be able to support the best German athletes at the Olympic Games in the future.”
DOSB President Alfons Hörmann commented, “The Adidas brand is a firm component of the German Olympic team. We’re very happy that this partnership will now last at least until 2024. Together, we’ll write new chapters in the Olympic story and get the young generation excited for sports.”
