In addition to the Adidas solution, offers from Nike and Under Armour were also looked over at DFB headquarters in Frankfurt. The association is now said to have decided on the offer out of Herzogenaurach, and gotten between 65 and 70 million euros for it, according to “Sport Bild.”
Deal with DFB worth it for Adidas
The German national team would even pocket more than the FC Bayern München: The record-holding champion takes in about 60 million euros a year.

According to “Sport Bild,” the deal is to be announced before the third group match against North Ireland at the Euro 2016 in France. That the deal is also worth it for Adidas is shown in the sales figures for DFB jerseys: Adidas has already sold 1.3 million DFB jerseys in the first half of 2016. That said, some at the sporting goods manufacturer were not satisfied with sales.
The outfitter agreement does not include the players’ shoes, however: those they can still choose for themselves. Ten of the 23 DFB stars at the Euro 2016 in France continue to play in shoes by Nike.
