Until now KIX produced the jerseys for Ulm: Starting in the 2016/2017 season the US company Nike will become their outfitter.
With the partnership Nike is returning to the Federal Basketball League: Until the end of 2012, the US corporation had equipped the German national team, which is now being outfitted by the Chinese sportswear manufacturer Peak. Nike will succeed the Munich sportswear manufacturer KIX as Ulm’s outfitter.
At least they had one previous connection to German basketball: Nike had a sponsorship agreement with superstar Dirk Nowitzki from the Dallas Mavericks who, however, has already announced the end of his career with the national team.
