For the first time ever they’re hitting the record of 2,700 exhibitors, announced Marcus Hefter, ISPO Exhibition Group Director. “We’re glad that ISPO MUNICH is growing in nearly every sector,” said Hefter. “Our new POLYGON concept is also being very well received.”
ISPO MUNICH, the superlative
However, a former sideshow is also to be emphasized, said Hefter, “For the first time, TEXTRENDS will occupy an entire hall. We had over 500 product entries for our competition on the most innovative textiles – that’s pretty intense!”
Will ISPO MUNICH 2017 also hit records in terms of visitor numbers (there were more than 83,000 in 2016)? “Wait and see,” says Hefter. “But it’s looking good: We’ve currently sold more tickets than we had by the same time last year.”
Lots of events for visitors
In each case, visitors can look forward to “16 fully packed halls and a comprehensive accompanying program with events and exciting presentations,” said Hefter.
