Let's test!
The second ISPO BIKE Demo Day will be held on August 15th, 2012 at Bikepark Samerberg. More than 200 km of established bike trails leading through the picturesque Samerberg Mountain Valley invite participants to test the innovations for the coming season. The bike park is the headquarters of the ISPO BIKE Demo Day Test Area and trailhead for four different test trails. Members of the industry, retail and the press are welcome to participate.

Test Trails
All trails extend along quiet, low-traffic roads and are exclusively reserved for clock-wise, one-way traffic.

E-Bike Trail (3,5 km) powered by 
The e-bike test trail starts directly at the ISPO BIKE Test Area. The dedicated trail leads through small villages and is 3.5 km long.

Road Bike Trail (12,5 km, ca. 200 elevation gain) powered by 
The trail circles the picturesque mountain valley of Samerberg on well-maintained, asphalted country roads. The trail features an average gradient of 10% oer an extended section, then leads through the village of Törwang, mostly downhill, back to the starting area.
Level of difficulty: medium
Alternatively, the clearly marked trail may be shortened to about 9 km by circumventing the longer uphill section. |

Mountain Bike Test Trail (5,9 km, ca. 380 m elevation gain) powered by 
The mountain bike test trail runs across an asphalted uphill section to the picturesque "Kräuterwiese" (wildflower meadow), then leads through scenic high mountain pastures back to the bike park entrance.

MTB - Bikepark
The primary bike park trails are accessed from the middle station of the Hochriesbahn chairlift. The area offers alternative routes for a variety of preferences and skills.
The chairlift can be used for transportation to the starting area of the bike park (and its many trails), located at the middle station of the Hochriesbahn, and starts directly at the ISPO BIKE Area.

Where can I register for the ISPO BIKE Demo Day?
You may register online using the online form (deadline:June 7th, 2012)
Who can participate in the ISPO BIKE Demo Day?
National and international retailers, as well as sponsors, partners, and members of the press.
How is the test organized?
Participants will receive a test card as well as a wristband, allowing them access to all ISPO BIKE Demo Day booths and tests. Booth personnel simply scan the product the participant wishes to test on a material list as well as on the participant’s test card.
The ISPO BIKE Demo Day test card allows participants to borrow several demo articles at the same time, such as a mountain bike, protectors and helmet.
Where can I get the scanner, and how do I return it?
We will provide you with the required scanners and related information prior to the start of the ISPO BIKE Demo Day. At the conclusion of the event you simply return your scanners to the ISPO BIKE Demo Day Registration. Within a few days we will send you an evaluation of your test activities, so you can use the information to contact retailers and the media.

Where can I register for the ISPO BIKE Demo Day?
Beginning in May 2012 you may register for the ISPO BIKE Demo Day online or on site at Samerberg.
What is required to be able to participate in the tests?
Following your check-in at ISPO BIKE Demo Day Registration you will receive your test card as well as a VIP wristband. These prove your eligibility to test products free of charge at all ISPO BIKE Demo Day booths.
