As the only multi-segment trade show the event also offers its participants an opportunity to discover discipline-overlapping synergy and cross-selling potential, as well as recognize new segments and trends in advance. In 1969 visitors leaving the sporting goods trade show in Wiesbaden were confronted by a sign at the exit of the Rhein-Main Hall reading: “See You On March 8 – 10, 1970 At The International Sporting Goods Trade Show ispo 70” (“Auf Wiedersehen vom 8.-10.
