The North Face has found itself a new European Manager. Kath Smith is to become Vice President and General Manager of The North Face E/ME/A. She will be succeeding Arne Arens, who was recently named as the company's new Vice President & General Manager America.

Kath Smith will be leading the E/ME/A team from the company's European headquarters in Stabio, Switzerland. She started out in October 2015 as Vice President in the sales department of The North Face, VF Corporation's biggest outdoor brand. Before then, she had worked as Managing Director for the adidas Group and as Reebok's Brand Director.

The North Face is part of the VF Corporation, which also owns well-known brands like Timberland, Vans, Wrangler, and Nautica. In January 2017, The North Face bid farewell to CEO Todd Spaletto. There were further management changes in other divisions of the VF Corporation. Stewart Whitney, formerly the CEO of Timberland, left the company, as did Mark Satkiewicz, former head of Smartwool.

The VF Corporation and The North Face also have open positions in Germany, England, and Switzerland – you can see which here >>>
