Klaus Dittrich, Chairman of the Management Board of Messe München GmbH, insisted on personally welcoming the prominent guests to the Bavaria Lounge. Afterwards, the players took part in a tour through the halls of ISPO MUNICH 2017 – and even tried their hand at times along the way.
At the stand of outdoor clothing and sporting goods manufacturer Marmot, Carina Wenninger and Vanessa Bürki challenged the paraclimber Katharina Saurwein and Anke Wöhrer, Olympic silver medalist winner on the snowboard, to a spontaneous kicker duel. It goes without saying that the football players came out on ahead 3:0.
The visit to the stand of Anita Active, GOLD WINNER of the ISPO AWARD 2017 in the “Health & Fitness” segment, where every player was measured, was anything but unprofitable. Not without reason: Bayernrot is the sports bra named “Momentum”, which will be produced separately for every player.
The ladies from Munich were also welcome visitors to the other stands of ISPO MUNICH 2017, among others, on the stages of ISPO Health & Fitness and in the ISPO BRANDNEW village. Their interests were clearly different.
Defender Nora Holstad, for example, caught up on the innovations in the area of performance diagnosis. The Norwegian’s conclusion: “It’s great here and I didn’t expect ISPO MUNICH to be so large. There are so many cool brands here.” Nora Holstad wants to come again, then with a little less fanfare next time but above all to spend more time looking at things – like her team colleagues.
