The company Vaude receives one prize after another for the rebuilding of its headquarters in Tettnang near Lake Constance. Now Peter Lorch, member of the Board, has also been able to accept the GreenTec Award 2016 in the category “Green Office by Kyocera”.

For its 500 employees, the company built a green headquarters that satisfies all environmental standards. As a bonus for the award, the company receives 25,000 euros. Outdoor manufacturer Vaude has already won the German Sustainability Award.

CEO of Vaude, Dr Antje von Dewitz said: “For us sustainability in the office means not only using consistently ecological materials but also creating a healthy and comfortable environment in which people like to work and develop. Therefore, we have planned and implemented the urgently needed building work with a DGNB certification.”

GreenTec Award: Award for ecological engagement

In 2015, von Dewitz had already said in an ISPO.com interview that Vaude is “Europe's most sustainable outdoor outfitter”.

The jury of the prestigious award consists of 70 representatives from the economy, science, organizations, and the media. Honored are green products and projects, which distinguish themselves through outstanding environmental technologies and ecological commitment.
