In 2017 the ISPO ACADEMY Conference will take place in the Conference Arena at Entrance East of ISPO MUNICH 2017.
During all four days of the trade show lectures, discussions and presentation provide show visitors with insights into the latest developments in the sports industry in retail, design and marketing.
Please note that some lectures will only be available in English (E) or German (D) and a simultaneous translation service is only available on events with (ET) or (DT) respectively.
ISPO MUNICH is delighted to announce the second edition of the ISPO ACADEMY masterclass. This unique platform is dedicated to the support of fresh design talents for the sports industry and was launched successfully at ISPO MUNICH 2016.
The ISPO ACADEMY masterclass aims at the encouragement of young creative talents from all fields of design with a major focus on thinking outside the traditional frameworks. The distinctive feature of this masterclass is to convey sports related knowledge for intelligent and innovative product development in the sports industry.
Lectures given by renowned international designers show the significant differences between sports clothing and traditional fashion.
The European sports market continues to exhibit a lot of potential. Yet, where and how should companies stage a successful market entry in Europe? The Market Introduction Program at ISPO MUNICH provides answers to these and other questions of strategic importance.
The program targets business professionals from Outdoor, Action Sports and Sportstyle brands, wishing to get a deeper insight into the European markets. The three-day program consists of seminars, networking events and access to ISPO and its business lounges for individual meetings. A guided Retail Tour to some of Europe´s leading sport and outdoor retailers offer insights to retail business. Add to this ISPO Networking Event and dinner—ideal opportunities to gain initial business contacts.
On the 10th of January 2017, ISPO ACADEMY takes place for the third time at the Brand Event at the Sports Business Center (Odercenter), in Leusden. The focus topic is Sports, Technology & Retail. The former ice skating professional and entrepreneur, Ben van der Burg and Prof. Dr. ir. Kitty Koelemeijer, Lecturer for Marketing & Retail at the Nyenrode Business University present new technologies and how they can help to increase conversion.
ISPO will host the first ISPO ACADEMY Conference in Korea from 07. – 08. November in cooperation with the Korean Outdoor and Sports Industry Association (KOIA).
On October 12 and 13, 2016 Poland will once again be in the focus at ISPO ACADEMY. The ISPO ACADEMY Conference will take place in Zawoja in the Krakow area, in southern Poland.
Polish Sports Retailers, Journalists and Industry Professionals can once again expect two informative days with this year’s focus topics, E-Commerce developments, Staff Management, Retail Marketing strategies and Customer Service.
The second ISPO ACADEMY Japan will take place on September 2, 2016 in Tokyo. Participants can look forward to an extensive program with lectures and seminars focusing on internationalization. Particularly Europe and China, potentials these markets offer and how Japanese Sports Business Professionals can benefit from them will be presented.
Additionally, in view of the Olympic Summer Games Tokyo 2020, the impact of sports events on the sporting goods market will be analysed. A Brazilian delegation will show the latest developments that resulted from the Olympic Games 2016 in Rio.
The conference will end with a networking event for all participants in the evening.
