European Outdoor Group discusses sustainability
Some of the largest brands from the Outdoor industry have formed a working group within the European Outdoor Group EOG called the “Sustainability Working Group”. The “SWG”’s aim is to collectively put forward suggestions of the best working practices. Any decisions taken will be optional for anyone working in the industry, but hopes are that they will provide the opportunity to develop a cohesive process for the outdoor sector to follow.

The outdoor & ski get-together – powered by Tirol
It’s party time at the snow ice & rock summit presentation area in hall A6! On Monday, February 8th, 2010, ispo invites the ski and outdoor communities to the outdoor & ski get-together – powered by Tyrol, beginning at 6 pm. Of course, guests will also enjoy culinary delights: the two partners, Tyrol and Erdinger, will provide Tyrolean specialties and cold Erdinger Champ.
Like last year, DJ Bernd-Uwe Gutknecht of Bayrischer Rundfunk radio will break
the ice with hot sounds! And summit partner Marmot Mountain Europe will present
each guest with a special gift. Before the party, beginning at 4.30 pm, the
film “Home” by Yann Arthus-Bertrand will be screened at the snow ice & rock
summit – presented by Marmot. Extraordinary images and scenes from 54 countries
all over our beautiful planet are geared to make the audience aware of the
